Kansas City came out on top, beating Detroit 30–17. Patrick Mahomes tossed 3 touchdowns, including 2 to Hollywood Brown, and added a rushing score. The Chiefs built a lead with a strong second half, and their defense kept the Lions from mounting a full comeback
And in a heartbreaking finish, Cameron Dicker drilled the game-winner for the Chargers at the death to top the Dolphins 29–27.
